David Banner’s generosity has enabled 80 children from the Stewpot Neighborhood Children’s program in Jackson, Mississippi to experience an annual all expenses paid trip to Six Flags over Georgia today by providing a bus, food, t-shirts and admission to the park.
“The children that we serve at Stewpot would not normally be able to go on an ‘out of town’ trip,” said Stewpot Community Services Counselor, Sherry Adams. Because of Banner’s love for our community, he makes it possible for our kids to travel outside of Mississippi, on a fun and exciting summer trip every year, says Stewpot Community Services Counselor, Sherry Adams. David made it all possible because these kids don’t have to pay a dime.”
Stewpot Neighborhood Children’s program offers an after-school program and summer camp to over 200 at-risk youth from Mississippi. David Banner, is currently putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album “The Greatest Story Ever Told,” which is scheduled to be released in October.
